Turmeric juice

Turmeric can be called the queen of colors, the uses of it are omnipresent, The Colour, Fragrance, everything is beautiful about it Turmeric especially Raw Turmeric is more beautiful in its color.

Raw Turmeric root paste when applied to skin makes your skin glow, by crushing a small piece of raw Turmeric and drinking with hot water is good for health and allergies, and fever.

Turmeric is used in the preparation of Soap, Face creams, Ayurvedic medicines, it is also very good to running nose, taking turmeric steam or drinking Turmeric water is advisable, it’s also good for diabetic people.

In India women apply turmeric on their faces and forehead after morning bath every day, its applied-on temple doors within the houses is mixed with Kumkum powder and is also used in Rangoli daily. Turmeric is used in every pooja and offerings to the god, Turmeric and Kumkum are a must present items in every pooja, Turmeric is good for skin diseases, it boosts immunity it is also good for people suffering from diabetes, Turmeric is used in cooking sambar and dal daily.

Turmeric is used extensively in Indian weddings, during the wedding ceremony turmeric is applied to both Bride and Groom before and after the wedding. Turmeric is an essential item in curry or sambar related items and its preparations.

While drinking a juice on an empty stomach early in the morning adding Raw turmeric roots of 2 inches along with 6-8 Tulsi leaves, half a spoon of ginger by adding all theses to 1 litre of water and boil it with little jaggery and little lemon juice, Drinking this every day will eradicate long occurring cold, sinus related issues and also other bodily diseases. Adding honey to this juice is also recommendable but when adding honey to Hot water one should be careful of it. There is no compulsion to use ginger daily as ginger increases body heat and its not advisable for people with high body temperatures.

Method Two

Take 1 cup of cumin seeds (Jeera), 2 pieces of raw turmeric, 1 teaspoon of Pepper, grounded coconut powder,  grind it in a mixer and add this mixture to 1 cup of buttermilk or lemon juice, add a proportionate amount of salt, 1 teaspoon of Jaggery and make it 4 cups once done juice is ready to consume.

To make Turmeric chutney (Sauce) take 5 pieces of raw turmeric, 1 cup of grounded coconut, Tamarind half a piece or Lemon juice, to make it spicy add 5-6 piece of Red or Green chilies and grind it and add 1 teaspoon of salt and Turmeric chutney is ready, You can savor this with Rotis or other dishes.
